The best breakfast in Boston is not in a fancy hotel but at this local favorite in Union Sq. Pastel umbrellas sprout from each picnic table in the grape arbor outside, where a multiethnic crowd flocks each weekend for great food at incredible prices. Brunch here has a Portuguese flavor, with popular dishes like linguiça sausage omelettes ($9) and sweet bread French toast ($7). Best of all, every entree comes with fresh-squeezed OJ, baked goods, luscious hot cereal or fruit, and unlimited coffee—more than plenty to fill you up ‘til dinner and easily large enough for two. However, all you frugal Fannies out there, beware: there is a $3 sharing fee. On weekend mornings, be prepared to wait up to half an hour. Entrees $5-12.
