While Primo's Pizzeria in Somerville’s Winter Hill serves up quality NYC-style pizzas, their claim to fame is their wide array of subs and sandwiches that range from an authentic eggplant parmigiana to buffalo chicken to a classic hot pastrami. Not to be confused with Dragon Star Chinese Restaurant in Brookline, New Dragon Star in Somerville’s Winter Hill specializes in Polynesian-style cuisine (think more coconut and fruit flavors and less cashew chicken and pu-pu platters). While the hole-in-the-wall ambience of this restaurant can be a scare off the average foodie, their takeout is perfect for those longing for a late-night fix of Chinese-Polynesian staples.
