Grub Street Writers, Inc. is the only private writing school in Boston. It offers workshops in fiction, non-fiction, poetry,
screenwriting, and other writing styles. In addition to an adult program, special services are also available for young adults.
Custom Workshops: Students ages 12 to 17 can have an instructor come to their home to lead an eight-week custom-designed writing workshop. Choose fiction, screenwriting, creative nonfiction, poetry, or a combination of styles. Your child can sign up with a group of friends. Individuals are assigned to a group. The cost per workshop is $545 per student (6 to 8 students) or $595 per student (4 to 5 students).

As a community based organization, the OPENAIR Circus works to encourage neighborhood participation in the arts, and to promote leadership and self-esteem for children and teens.
